Hello,

I'm Emma.

I work at the intersection of the creative, the academic, and the practical. I am a writer, a bookbinder, and a coach. I believe in scholarship that is well-written, inclusive, and accessible to the public.

I live in Austin, Texas and enjoy going on very long walks. If you want to find me, the snack room of the nearest rare books library is a good bet.

Coaching, Tutoring, and Editing

“Emma is prepared, responsive, careful and wise, while managing to be both encouraging and challenging. She is a delight, beckoning my own voice, helping it to be clear, insisting that it stand on its own credibility, and reassuring me that it is worth hearing.”
